Cheerio Lionel!

Lionel's moved back in with Rosy! Will miss having the little grumpy handsome face around in Wimmers.
 But Pooey definitely needs a friend to have for company I think, so I'm working on Pedro's brother who owns Pooey's Mam and Auntie and her son, Sampson (Pooeys cousin!) and they're always hissing at him, whereas him and Pooey get on like best pals when she goes back, so fingers crossed!! :D

Garden update!

Lionel unsurprisingly isn't enjoying the hot weather.

The bluebells are coming on though, and my persian buttercups are flowering.

And the first strawberry flower is out!

 

I also tidied up my window boxes after about 3/4 years of just letting them do their own thing! Separated out the geraniums and the muscari and pruned back all the dead stalks.

The second window box seems to have faired the worse through the winter for some reason, so hope it catches up! 

Pooey and Lionel saga: The latest

Apart from the odd little spat when Pooey launches herself at Lionel in full I WANNA PLAY mood, and all Lionel wants to do is sleep, they get on awfully well now. I've even seen him lick her head! Aah :)

Day 3...

Well last night Pooey went bat shit crazy. Sorry for my language but she did! She was hanging upside down under the sofa hissing and swiping at Lionel! He tapped her back and gave her a good hiss. So today she's much better behaved!
 They even managed a bit of breakfast together in peace, and when she goes to look at him having quiet time under the bed she doesn't growl now :) Hopefully he's taught her a lesson!

Day Two cont...

Pooey is still hissy! Lionel is acting like butter wouldn't melt, but I'm sure he's not completely innocent :)

Day two...

Pooey Cat's aversion to Lionel has now become physical, after the cat nip left out to calm her down brought on a fit of furball hacking. Lovely.

Tables are turning!

Managed to coax Lionel out from under the bed and he had a good bout of paddy padding, purring and head bumping whilst Pooey looks on aghast that he's so bold!

Lionel's come to stay!

Lionel has come to stay with us for a little while. Pooey has been less than friendly. She was sneaking in to where he was hiding under the bed, growling and hissing at him, eventually calming down a little to peeking at him and running off tail like a bottle brush. She's now left him alone, so might try and coax him out poor love! :)
