London Vintage Wedding Fayre!

Yesterday me and Amberin had a stall at The Vintage Wedding Fayre at the Camden Centre displaying wedding stationery (Crimson Moonshine)

We were next door to a florist called Ivy, Pip and Rose who had such a gorgeous display and at the end gave us a couple of bouquets to take home! Wonderful!!

and the lady behind us who is The House of Vintage Weddings & Accessories got me to try on one of her dresses. Who knew cardys look good with a gown?!
It was a fun day! Lovely to see reactions to our designs. We'll be at the Vintage Wedding Fayre in Bath, 16th November next :)

Les Enfants Terribles The Trench

Went to see The Trench at Greenwich Theatre last night and it was such a beautiful lyrical piece of poetry and incredibly moving and horrible all at once! The puppets in it were spine shudderingly frightening! Especially the beast that appears to Bert when he's trapped in a tunnel. The beast I learnt is called Gary. So here's a quick doodle of him!

Butternut Squashes off the allotment!

So proud of my squashes! Then my friend Elli said how she draws faces on them and my other friend Clara said how this would make it so much harder to eat them! Ha!!

So then I had to doodle!

They Draw Horses Don't They? Exhibition!

I was a winner of a competition set by Inky Solutions a Brighton based printers to win 500 postcards and all you had to do was enter a picture (or as many as you liked!) of a horse you've drawn. I really wanted to win them postcards for promos to send to publishers and went to town drumming up support!
Steve the chap behind Inky Solutions then set in motion putting together an exhibition of all the entries and it all came together last night. Unfortunately I didn't make it til late, but manage to meet Lydia Monks and Guy Parker Rees and my old Southampton Uni chum Shelley!
There's now an online shop where you can buy merchandise from the evening too!
Was so lovely to meet Steve whose been behind it all and catch up with Shelley and meet two illustrators I also look up too off the old twitter! :)
(see if you can spot my horse!)

Lydia Monks lovely Unicorn

Shelley Wilsons gorgeous Zebra

Guy Parker-Rees' dancing ones!
